Randy Carlan's Sho-Bud
This Guitar at one time belonged to Gene O'Neal who played for Charlie Pride. It is in beautiful condition, both cosmetically and playability. The tone is great. I am not sure about the year. There is no model or serial number stamped on the guitar anywhere, but the case has a model number of 6153, and serial number 3807 on a tag inside it. The pedal bar has Madison, Tn. on it and the guitar has Nashville, Tn. on it, so apparently the pedal bar has been changed to an earlier model at some time. There is a metal plate on the left top of the guitar which says"Custom Made By Sho-Bud Guitar Co." It also has a polished carrying handle on the left end of the guitar as well. I am not sure if this was original or not. The front and back is natural finished bird's eye maple and the top is birds eye maple stained a Lloyd Green "Green" (real pretty). The arm rest pad is black. The set us is pedals A,B,C (std) left to right. Knee pedals LKL (4&8 raise), LKR (4&8 lower), RKL (1 raise and 6 lower), and RKR (2&9 lower). I would like to know more about the history of the guitar if anyone might have some knowledge of it. I am proud to be its new owner.
