    Irlen Syndrome is a perceptual problem that prevents an estimated 10-15% of the population from being able to learn, read, or study efficiently, and is present in about 50% of individuals who have reading difficulties. It is only in recent years that this disorder has become more widely recognized. We have extensive experience working with students who have Irlen Syndrome, and have seen dramatic improvements with these individuals using Irlen filters, where other methods have had little success.
