Randy is a Senior Engineer at TELUS Communications, the second largest telecommunications service provider in Canada, providing voice, data, wireless, Internet and video services.

Randy reports to the Chief Technology Office at TELUS and his responsibilities include the development of TELUS' technology evolution strategy.

As TELUS' representative, Randy has worked with R&D organizations including TRLabs (Telecommunications Research Laboratories), Netera, (the regional advanced research network in Alberta), and CANARIE (Canadian Network for the Advancement of Research, Industry and Education).

Randy holds a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta (1980) and is a member of APEGGA (Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta) and is an IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) member.
