Tetris was formed in 1992 by uniting the business and management systems experience of Steve Hancock and two other Edmonton area  management consultants. With a combination of small and large company experience, Tetris is well suited to tailor solutions to our client organization’s size and needs.

STEVE HANCOCK P. ENG.


 

Steve is the owner and president of The Tetris Management Group. He has helped over 40 clients develop and implement registerable ISO 9001 quality management systems. In addition, Steve lectures in quality management at a local community college.

Steve spearheaded the culture change necessary for the largest oil refinery in Western Canada to achieve the prestigious Ford Q1 Preferred Supplier status. While working for five years with renowned Canadian and American consultants, Steve acquired a thorough working knowledge of the various TQM concepts and tools. He is well experienced in facilitation, TQM course design and delivery.

Steve has considerable operating experience with a major international plastics and chemicals company. Steve’s positions included Start-up Manager, Manufacturing Superintendent and Technical Superintendent.

Steve was educated in England where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Fuel Technology and a post-graduate Diploma in Management Sciences. He has met all the training requirements of the Certification Program for Auditors of Quality Management Systems in both the United Kingdom and North America. Steve is a founding member of the Edmonton Chapter of the ASQ and was the first vice-chairman.
