China News Digest

Online (in English), news of interest to China watchers. Regional and global news items, updated every week.

Sing Tao Daily News

Online (in Chinese), from San Francisco, and you do not need a Chinese browser to view it in GB or Big5.

Feng Hua Yuan

Online (in English and GB), an electronic emagazine from the Federation of Chinese Students and Professionals Canada (FCSPC), and published on the first, tenth and twentieth day of each month.

Taiwan Headline News

Online (in English and Chinese), provides links to many magazines and news services of SinaNet in Taiwan. A Chinese browser is not required, but most text is in Chinese.

People's Daily

Online (in Chinese). This is the International edition of the paper, and you need a Chinese browser to read it. The paper seems to be a few months behind.

Shanghai XinMin Evening News

Online (in Chinese), and is updated daily. You will need a frames capable browser and of course, a Chinese language capable browser.
